Hi, my name is Shawn Fisher. I started filming weddings in 2014. Over ten years ago! It feels wild to say. I truly believe I have the best job on the planet. I get to walk with couples during one the most fun and exciting seasons of life and document their unique love story.

Shawn Fisher Productions started because I was obsessed with creating the next epic film. Every day I couldn’t wait to create something incredible and that passion led me to filming weddings for friends and eventually building a business.  

Video is my passion and the fact of the matter is we are all limited by one thing. Time. Video extends time. It allows for us to relive extraordinary moments in lives and communicates in a powerful way if done correctly. Video gives us the opportunity to remember what is important in life and that is what I love to capture.

I met the love my life and got married in 2023. Kayla is absolutely amazing, the sweetest person and I can’t imagine life without her. She has joined the SFP team and often shoots weddings and helps with admin needs. I am so grateful to have my wife be a part of the team!

Shawn was an incredible videographer! From the beginning, he was friendly, responsive and easy to work with. On our wedding day, he was incredibly flexible and captured so many candid details and important moments. He was so much fun throughout the day – he even ended up getting pulled out onto the dance floor and had some moves! The wedding videos (shorter “highlights” video with music and a longer video of the ceremony and reception) were delivered on time and easily the best I’ve ever seen. Not only was the cinematography great, but the editing was also very impressive and something you should not underestimate. Shawn’s assistant was also very talented and having both of them there ensured they were able to be everywhere at once and get some great alternating shots for the final product.
